Everyone wants to be noticed

Because Branding-Pros is a dedicated  group of promotional advertising specialist we annually attend the world's largest promotional marketing conference (Promotional Products Association International - PPAI). There is always so much to learn and new promotional products to review.

This year's keynote speaker, Ken Schmidt, was absolutely fabulous.  You may know that Ken Schmidt (former VP - Harley Davidson) was very instrumental in the turn around of Harley Davidson, which was just days away from bankruptcy some 20 years ago.  His speaking focus was about NOTICING people and how Harley created BRAND DISCIPLES instead of customers.  Did you know that you can buy pretty much buy a duplicate Honda motorcycle that gets better gas mileage, has an equal warranty, and even better performance for 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a Harley Davidson motorcycle.  With is being said, Harley Davidson still outsells Honda motorcycles 10:1, WOW! Ken pointed out that riding a Harley gets you noticed... From the noise of the engine reviving, the to dressing up owners make to their "HOGS," to the associated rebel crowd that is typically associated (falsely) Harley motorcycles.  This "Noticing" effect has taken what we could call a customer to what they call "Brand Disciples."    We would encourage to you to look at clips of Ken Schmidt speaking on YouTube.

Our question to you is what are you doing to notice your customers and to be noticed by your customers?  Do you just seek after customers or are you seeking "Brand Disciples?"  Now we at Branding-Pros are not miracle workers, but we have creative marketing concepts that when executed will help you get noticed and will make a difference for your business.  All this from promotional product advertising!

In Utah - we have a client that ran a Harley Davidson give-away promotion to which we completed their efforts by providing a Harley themed tee shirt that was compressed to look like a mini Harley Davidson, quite impressive and very memorable to their customers, even to this date.  Ask us about more detailed results of this campaign.
